Originating on rocky, rough terrain in Western Ireland, the Connemara Pony is, not surprisingly, a hardy, sturdy and intelligent breed. The pony's temperament is well known as being calm and willing to please. Because of its history, the breed is great for a variety of events, including jumping and endurance to light draft even. The Connemara Pony ranges from 13-15hh.
